We were approached by the head of the Parent and Teacher Community at Armthorpe Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic School In Doncaster to design an educational multipurpose play area/garden at the rear of there school. As we all know government education funding is hard to come by. Our Lady’s School are trying to raise £15,000 to fund the garden area. This amount of money will barely cover materials, never mind the labour to complete the project or the cost of the design and planning.
To help contribute Undercut would like to design and plan the concept of the garden free of charge. This should help the school save on expensive design costs. Our challenge now is to create a educational area for the children within budget, something that will benefit their everyday life’s and help them learn and play. We will submit our plans and ideas to the school over the next couple of weeks. Plans, Illustrations and designs will also be uploaded to our Blog. Let’s hope this inspires more parents at the school to help get involved with there children’s future. I’m sure Our Lady’s School will need help to build the garden, as we all know labour is expensive so voluntary help will be no doubt be called upon.

Undercut Grounds Maintenance submitted there plans to the school and supplied them to the National Lottery. The school has been award with £9000 to help with their garden. Undercut have been to the site to remove tree's FOC ready for the outdoor classroom to be installed. Photos will be posted soon.
